Larry Sifers was born in Redwood City, California. He started shooting at the age of 8. At age 10, he had his hunting license and has been hooked on the outdoors ever since. Larry has been bow hunting for 25 years, and has been to four continents hunting for wild game. Larry was involved in motorcycle racing, water skiing, snow skiing, and baseball when he was younger.
Larry and his wife, Liz, have raised 5 kids, all of whom are young adults now. Larry has been coaching junior shooters since 1993. For the past several years, the Sifers have been hosting shooting camps for the junior shooters at their home in Newport Beach.
Larry broke his first hundred in the 12ga., and the very next day ran his first hundred in the 410. He loves the 410. Larry has been shooting competition in sporting clays and skeet for over 20 years.
Larry loves a good laugh but all bets are off when he is shooting! He has met many friends in skeet, and feels like it’s one great family. The love of the game, and the friends around him, is why he keeps coming back.
